Today, the fourth and fifth generations of the Pero family are operating over 11,000 acres of farms and, they are considered one of the largest bell pepper farmers in the U.S. In addition to bell peppers, Pero grows over 20 varieties of vegetables and is also one of the largest organic farmers in Florida.
